Portrait

»In my work I focus on the analysis and computation of scalar and electromagnetic fields and waves as well as their application-oriented simulation. This I closely linked to nano science in a way that the novel passive and uncooled magnetoelectric sensors allow for much more flexible sensor arrangements in biomagnetic measurements in contrast to SQUIDs. These can be investigated systematically by field theoretical analysis.«

Ludger Klinkenbusch. Since 1999 professor for Computational Electromagnetics at Kiel University. Prior to that research assistant and lecturer at Bochum University (RUB). Born in Borken (Westph.). 1991 PhD, 1996 habilitation, both at RUB.
