Two online events about nano medicine

Oct 27, 2020

Thumbnail VideoThis November and December, the North German Nanotechnology Initiative (NINa e.V.) organises two events in the field of nanomedicine. On 24 November, the online symposium "Corona Vaccine - Impact of Nanotechnology" takes place, organised together with the University of Kiel, the Life Science Nord network, the WTSH (Wirtschaftsförderung und Technologietransfer in Schleswig-Holstein). On 9 December, the online conference "Nano Meets Medicine" will take place, organised in cooperation with the Institute of Medical Engineering at the University of Lübeck, Life Science Nord and the WTSH. The events will be held in English. Please register and stream the free events via Read more

Corona Vaccine - Impact of Nanotechnology
A virus the size of a few nanometers paralyzes the whole world. Biotech companies and pharmaceutical companies are working flat out to develop a vaccine against the new coronavirus Sars-CoV-2, driven by funds and the expectations of governments worldwide. With the symposium Corona Vaccine - Impact of Nanotechnology organized by NINa SH we would like to inform you about current activities and research from science and industry in the cross-sectional area of bio- and nanotechnology in vaccine development and invite you to join the discussion.

The event will be moderated by Regina Scherließ, member of the extended NINa Board and the KiNSIS Board.

"Nano Meets Medicine"
The application potential of nanotechnology in therapy and molecular diagnostics is diverse and ranges from tumor therapy to infection diagnostics and imaging with magnetic nanoparticles to immune modulation. The Symposium Nano meets medicine would like to inform you about current developments, initiate stimulating discussions across disciplines, and show opportunities for joint activities.
