Gerhard Meyer from the IBM research laboratory in Zurich gave the first Diels-Planck-Lecture in Kiel

Gerhard MeyerWith fascinating pictures of molecular structures, the new Diels-Planck-Lecture of the Kiel Research Center for Nanosciences and Surface Research started on June 18, 2014. More than 60 guests listened to the lecture of the first guest speaker Dr. Gerhard Meyer from the IBM Research Laboratory in Zurich on the campus of the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel (CAU). Meyer reported on the results of the latest microscopy techniques and particularly impressed the expert audience. Following the lecture, the President of the University, Professor Lutz Kipp, presented him with a certificate in recognition of Meyer's groundbreaking research work.
