Diels-Planck-Lecture 2021: R. Stanley Williams, Texas

DPL LogoThe Diels-Planck-Lecture Medal is awarded annually to an outstanding and leading scientist in the field of nanoscience and surface science. This year, the medal will be awarded to R. Stanley Williams, Texas A&M University, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company Chair Professor, who is an outstanding scientist in the field of nanotechnology and who has done pioneering work in the field of memristive devices and neuromorphic computing.

In addition to the awarding of the Diels-Planck Medal, the KiNSIS awards for the best doctoral theses will take place during this event.
